Missions
Acts 1:8 says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." This is our aim at University Baptist Church, to be witnesses of Jesus Christ unto all the world. In an effort to obey this command of Christ, we have partnered with organizations locally and abroad who are sharing the love of Christ. Here are some ways you can assist us in this mission:
Renovation Church - Beavercreek, OH (our Jerusalem):
- Pray
- Help our team that goes over and helps them set up for morning worship
- 5/52 Challenge – Give $5/week to this ministry for 52 weeks
Goal for this ministry:
-20 families = $100/week = $400/month = $4800/year
*Renovation Church’s current yearly budget is $35,000
Edgewood Center (our Judea):
- Pray
- Collect food for them
- Collect clothing for them
- Go over and serve in either their Food Pantry or the Clothing house with your Sunday school class
Appalachian Regional Ministry (our Samaria):
- Pray
- Go and serve with the church - we are going to God's Closet in Manchester, KY this year
West Africa Baptist Advanced School of Theology (the ends of the earth):
- Pray
- Give financially
- Help with an annual church fundraiser for this ministry

- VBS Kickoff
- Fall Festival
- Christmas Concert
